Anna Dean Watson

Anna Dean Watson of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on March 11, 2025, at 80 years of age. She was born April 19, 1944, in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Hack and Roxie Watson. Anna worked various positions at Standard Grocery Store for many years. She was a member of Keystone Church of Christ, and she enjoyed going to yard sales, going on vacation, attending family reunions and spending time with her family. Anna is survived by her children, Lesley “Pete” (Bonnie) Watson, Melissa (Terry) England, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and her sister, Mary Inabnitt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Waymon Watson, and her son Gregory Steve Watson. Visitation will be held 4:00pm-8:00pm Monday, March 17, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township. Additional visitation from 11:30am-3:00pm and the funeral service at 3:00pm that will be held a Clay County Funeral Home 423 Brown Street Celina, Tennessee on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She will be laid to rest at Watson Cemetery in Celina, Tennessee following the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
