Deresa Jane Napier

Deresa Jane Napier was born December 12, 1961, in Chamblee, GA, and she passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at her residence in Celina, TN at the age of 62.

Deresa Napier was the daughter of the late James Pete Slate and Bernice Gardner Slate. She worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: James Pete Slate, Jr.

Survivors include her significant other: Mary Ratcliff of Celina; son: Skylar and wife Elizabeth Napier of Livingston; very special friends: Pam Burton of Indiana and Judy Rodgers of Ohio; other relatives and friends also survive.

The family has chosen cremation at this time.
