Thelma Edith Andrews

Thelma Edith Hamilton Andrews was born April 25, 1941 in Clay County and she passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at Alive Hospice in Nashville at the age of 82.

She was the daughter of Owens Hamilton and Ethel Garrett Hamilton.  She was a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ in Nashville and a retired pharmacy technician.  

Mrs. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Davis Andrews and brother, Edward Lewis Hamilton.

Survivors include her daughter, Tanya Renee Andrews of Nashville; sisters, Naomi Hamilton Johnson of Nashville and Mary L. Bartlett of Celina. Numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 10 am to 12 noon at Clay County Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 12 noon at the funeral home with Bro. Christopher Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow in Free Hill Cemetery.
