Willis Smith

Willis Smith was born March 22, 1937 in Clay County, TN and he passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 87.

Mr. Smith was the son of Earnest Frank Smith and Mertie K. Armer Smith.  He was a retired school bus driver and a farmer.  He was a resident of the Union Hill Community.  He was a good worker and loved his nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Richard Smith and sister in law, Nina Smith.

Survived by his brother, Weldon Smith of Celina; sister, Frances Crawford of Moss; great companion, Buster Brown; nephew, Rickey Crawford; great nieces, McKeshia (Trey) Crews and Mignon (Christopher) Pillows; great great niece, Pacy Pillows; great great nephew, Parker Pillows and Preston Pillows, other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025, 9 am to 9 pm at Clay County Funeral Home and Sunday 9 am to 2 pm.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in the chapel of Clay County Funeral Home with Bro. John Carlisle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery.
